Discrete architectural stainless steel Tactile indicators
Grip Guard SureSteel®, discrete architecturalstainless steel Tactile indicators are designed for
installation in aesthetically sensitive applications
or where exotic substrates are used such as polished timber,
marble, granite, and the like. SureSteel® is manufactured
from one solid piece of 316 stainless steel so the Tactile head
will never detach from the anchoring spigot.
Available in 3 basic styles with either a smooth or stepped side face profile, including:
• Grit in-filled top surface in black or yellow
• Concentric ring top surface with taper screw fixing hole
• Available with or without an anchoring spigot
• Directional Tactile ribs are also available to suit each style
• R13 anti-slip rated to ensure optimum safety
• Available with new patented DIY Drill&Lock® Technology, no adhesive required
• New EasyAs® carpet installation system
• Simple interlocking template installation.

CobbleTac® Porcelain
Permanent, Inlaid Tactile
Grip Guard CobbleTac® Tactiles provide safe and effective tactilecues for the vision impaired. They are manufactured using
tough porcelain to provide a cost competitive permanent solution
and are warranted against manufacturing faults for a period
of 10 years when installed to the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
• Available in 300x300x15mm format (10mm base plus 5mm stud height)• Extreme UV stability
• Dimensionally stable
• Easily installed using standard industry methods
• Appropriate for both internal and external applications: bus stops, pedestrian crossings, stairs and ramps
• R12 rating in accordance with Australian Standards AS/NZ 4586:2004.

Individual Tactile indicators:
Our individual tactile indicators all have a stud to suit an 8mm hole and are available in both Hazard or Directional.
- Stainless Steel
- Stainless Steel with Black centre
- Poly (Black, Grey & Yellow) other colours available on request
- Adhesive Stainless or Poly (various finishes)
Poly adhesive Hazard tactile pads (300mm x 300mm):
These are a heavy duty, premium Australian made product with a self-adhesive backing. They can be applied to a range of substrates and are a cost effective easy to install option. (not suitable for use on asphalt, either individual or stainless or fibreglass plate tactile)
Fibreglass Plate Tactile indicators (600mm x 300mm):
These are a heavy duty Fibreglass/plastic (FRP) plate. They are ideal for areas where individual tactile indicators aren’t suitable; such as old/uneven bitumen, over drain grates, decks etc. For general fixing, they are fixed using 6 x fixing holes and Sika Flex or similar adhesive. Available as Hazard or Directional in Black or Yellow.

Practical & Cost Effective Anti-Slip Tapes

Safe Floors Australia stock a range of anti slip tapes. There are many uses for anti slip tapes and a variety of colours available. These can be used as a cost effective stair nosing where an architectural nosing isn’t required and can be directly adhered to a range of surface, including concrete.
Anti Slip Tape Specifications
Grade:
Medium 60 grit aluminum oxide grit (or 36 grit available in yellow & Black)
Thickness: 0.8mm
Tensile strength 7
Adhesion 600gm/cm Elongation at break 80%
Applications:
Applied where there may be a safety hazard due to slipping on smooth and wet surfaces both inside and outside.
Durability:
Provides a tough and durable slip resistant surface. Exceeds the AS/NZ slip standards required.
Adhesion:
Applied to clean and dry surface between 12-35C degrees. Surface Primer is available to aid adhesion.
Colours and Sizes:
All rolls are 18.3 metres in length.
Black, green, yellow and yellow/black, available in the following widths:
25mm - 50mm - 100mm - 150mm - 200mm - 300mm
White, blue, grey, luminous, red and clear heavy duty, available in the following widths:

StepRight® matting offers a selection of treads in various colours including a range of rubber and carpet inserts to balance aesthetic and optimum performance.
